General questions and answers

The basics about BuildSprout, pricing and timing.

Ask Sprout
What does BuildSprout do?

BuildSprout is a human-led web and automation studio. We audit and build websites, review the systems behind them, connect business tools, automate repeat tasks and build custom AI assistants.

How much does a project cost?

Pricing depends on what your project actually needs, so it is scoped for each business. Send a project request and a real person will follow up with you.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the size of the project and what needs to connect. After the discovery and audit steps, you get a realistic timeline for yours.

Do you work with businesses outside Colorado Springs?

Yes. BuildSprout works with businesses remotely, wherever they are.

Common questions about process

How projects run, start to finish.

More about process
Can I start with just one step?

Yes. Start with one piece or bring us the whole picture. Many projects begin with a discovery call and an audit, and you decide what happens next.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the size of the project and what needs to connect. After the discovery and audit steps, you get a realistic timeline for yours.

How involved do I need to be?

Mostly at a few key moments: sharing your goals, giving access to the tools we need, approving the plan and joining training at handoff.

Will anything change before I approve it?

No. The audit only looks and writes things down. Work starts after you approve the plan.

What if I already know what I want?

Tell us. We will still do a quick audit so nothing important gets missed, then build to your plan.

What happens after handoff?

You get access notes, instructions, training and a list of future improvements. Ongoing improvements are available as agreed.

Common questions about websites

Design, rebuilds, phones and search.

More about websites
Do you rebuild every website?

No. Every project starts with an audit. If the structure of your site is solid, we improve what you have. We only rebuild when the audit shows the current site is holding your business back.

Will my website work on phones?

Yes. Every build is designed for phones, tablets and computers, and it is tested on real devices before launch.

Can my website connect to my CRM, booking or payment tools?

Yes, approved tools can be connected so forms and bookings go straight where they need to. The right platform and integrations are chosen for each project after looking at your goals and current tools.

Do you guarantee Google rankings?

No. Every site is built on solid SEO foundations, but no one can honestly guarantee rankings, so we never promise them.

Who builds my website?

A real designer and developer handle every build and stay accountable for it from the first call to launch.

Common questions about systems review

Mapping your CRM, forms and tools.

More about systems review
What is a business systems review?

It is a close look at the tools your business runs on, like your CRM, forms, calendars, email, payments and analytics. We map how information moves between them and find the handoffs that are broken or doubled up.

Do I have to switch to new software?

No. The goal is to make the tools you already use work together. If something truly is not working, the plan will say so and explain why, and you decide what happens next.

What do I get at the end?

A plain written plan that shows what you use, how it connects, what is broken, what is doubled up and what to keep, fix, connect, automate or leave for later.

Do you need access to my accounts?

We only ask for the access we need to understand how things connect, and we explain why before asking. You stay in control of your accounts.

Can you fix the problems you find?

Yes. Fixes, integrations and automation can be part of the same project, but only the ones you approve.

Common questions about automation

Connecting tools and automating repeat work.

More about automation
Which tools can you connect?

The right tools and integrations are chosen for each project after looking at your goals, the tools you use now, your budget and your privacy needs. Tell us what you use and we will tell you what makes sense.

Do I have to buy new software?

Not necessarily. We start with the tools you already have. If something new would help, the plan explains why, and nothing is added without your OK.

Will I lose control of my messages?

No. You approve every tool that gets connected, and consequential messages get a human check before they go out.

What happens if an automation breaks?

Every setup is tested before launch, including what happens when something fails, and a person is told when it does. Ongoing improvements are available as agreed.

Is my customer data safe?

We only ask for what is needed, contact details are collected with consent, and we explain why before anything is saved or sent to a CRM.

Common questions about ai assistants

Website guides, lead bots and how they behave.

More about ai assistants
Will the assistant pretend to be a person?

No. Every assistant introduces itself as an AI assistant and offers a real person when it is unsure or when the visitor asks.

Where does it get its answers?

From a knowledge base of information you approve, like your services, policies and FAQs. If it does not know, it says so instead of guessing.

Can it collect leads?

Yes. A lead assistant can ask a few useful questions and send the details to the right person or CRM stage, but only after the visitor agrees to share them.

Can it book appointments?

A booking assistant can explain your services, check the times you approve and help visitors request or schedule a meeting.

Does it have to be called Sprout?

No. Sprout is BuildSprout's own guide. Your assistant uses your business's name and brand.

Common questions about support

Testing, handoff, training and after launch.

More about support
What do you test before launch?

Phones, forms, consent, notifications, CRM data, failure paths and human handoff. If anything fails, it is fixed and tested again before launch.

Will I be able to make changes myself?

Yes. You get simple instructions and training for the everyday changes you will want to make.

Do I get access to everything?

Yes. Access notes cover where everything lives and how to log in, so you are never locked out of your own tools.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes. Ongoing improvements are available after launch, as agreed with each client.

Can you support a site you did not build?

Tell us about it. Every project starts with an audit, so we can look at what you have and be honest about what makes sense.
